Passwords

The password for TMI posts is "TMI", to make them opt-in for those who don't wish to read about gross bodily functions. Email for Password means just that; there may be up to several days' lag depending on which email address you use.

Disclosure Policy

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about it, please contact carrie@in-her-web.blog-city.com.

Some of the posts on this blog are paid advertising.  They are clearly marked as such, with the phrase "This is a Shameless Commercialism post!"; I don't write for advertisers who don't allow me to tell you that I'm advertising.  In addition, SC posts have their own category.  There's also the occasional paid link in a post that's not otherwise SC; such links are distinguishable by reading their hover-titles, which will say something like "they're paying me for this one" rather than my usual (hopefully) entertaining commentary on the link's content.

That being said, I do not give a positive review to any product or service I don't actually like; if a given posting opportunity requires a positive tone, I make sure it's actually worthy of such before committing to writing about it.  However, I don't have time to do full product research for $5, so you should check with the manufacturer or service provider to verify that the things they claim about their products are actually true.

As far as I am aware, this blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

To get your own boilerplate policy, go to http://www.disclosurepolicy.org/.  It might be in your best interest to take that as a starting point to make up your own disclosure policy, as I've done here.  This policy is valid from 03 November 2006.
